I know that it works somewhat because when I restart my computer Qbittorrent gets some fluctuation in the DL bar. I tried uninstalling, Deleting the preferences folder to reset the settings, restarting my computer, exiting and reopening Qbittorrent, Nothing seems to have worked for more than a few seconds.
I know that my internet is fine because I can do tests and browse the web just fine. Its just that the torrents don't seem to want to do anything. I used a calculator to determine what settings would be the best for my connection.
Connections: Global maximum: Per torrent: Upload slots: Global maximum: Not "checked" Default greyed out "8" Per torrent: 8. Connection status? Do you seed more than download? I download more than I seed. How many tasks do you expect to run on average? Not many, Enough to keep downloading at a steady rate. Do you use the machine for other tasks simultaneous with BitTorrent downloads? Plex when someone uses it. Here is my Log and ini file, I deleted the torrents from the log, I didn't think they were needed.

Delete torrent names and IP. Have you tried setting a static local IP and forward ports manually in your router? Doubt that's the problem as you have a green icon in status bar.. Have you tried another bittorrent client with the same settings?
I'm running out of ideas.. Sorry, something went wrong. Thank you for your reply, I try to be as detailed as possible when it comes to providing information about a problem. I actually have done the port forwarding before as well as the static IP, I use Plex and I use it with a "Remote Server" as well on a different port that's Plex dedicated. I don't know what they do either so I didn't know what to do with the option now that I know it exists.
This is my log and INI file. I just want to update my torrent seeds, It keeps going up but Qbittorrent does not download or upload. On a test, I restarted my computer and when Qbittorrent started my downloads started but then stopped again.
In most cases, the issue that uTorrent stuck on connecting on peers occurs because the client has been blocked by firewall. So, it should be helpful to allow uTorrent through firewall. Step 3 : Then, click Change settings button to make the settings editable. Locate uTorrent and check its boxes under both Private and Public columns. Click OK to save changes.
In this case, you can run a test within your uTorrent. Step 1 : Open your uTorrent client, click Options in the upper left corner and choose Setup guide.
Step 2 : Check both Bandwidth and Network. Select the nearest server from the drop-down list of Bandwidth. Step 3 : Click Run tests and wait for the process to be completed. The Preferences setting in your uTorrent might also interfere with your internet connection and cause uTorrent not downloading issue. Downloading copyrighted shows, movies and music is illegal , and can attract significant penalties.
All the major studios actively track the IP addresses of the computers illegally downloading their works.
They then contact the associated internet service providers ISPs and get them to trace that IP address back to you. In many countries, ISPs are legally obligated to tell the studios who you are.
Note: Some VPN services are free but, as with most things in life, you get what you pay for. Firstly, you need to make sure your Windows Firewall or anti-virus app is not blocking your uTorrent.
Although the uTorrent setup wizard will automatically add an exception for uTorrent in Windows Firewall, sometimes this will fail due to your third-party antivirus settings. If your antivirus app is doing an excellent job, it may take over control over your Windows Firewall and block your uTorrent, thus causing uTorrent not downloading issues. If your uTorrent is stuck on connecting to peers , it can be a temporary stale download caused by outdated seeders or trackers.
This will immediately check for more peers. Then navigate to the uTorrent folder and delete the file named resume. The culprit can be uTorrent settings such as ports not working, you can run a quick test and let uTorrent adjust its settings automatically.
